FPA Opens Student Flexible Packaging Competition The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) has an- nounced that the 2019 Student Flexible Packaging Design Challenge Call for Entries is now available, now in its 15th year. The Student Design Challenge honors flexible pack- aging solutions developed by students. The “chal- lenge” for students is to develop a flexible package solution that addresses a packaging issue, such as consumer convenience or the protection of food.The package should advance the use of flexible packag- ing; make an improvement over an existing flexible package; convert a non-flexible package into a flexi- ble package; or package a product that is not current- ly available in flexible packaging.
