The days are longer, the sun is shining and the air smells of sunscreen — we're in the heart of summertime. I hope this season finds you well, catching up on rest and enjoying time with family and friends. Whether you're lounging on the beach or staying cool indoors, I hope you carve out a moment to enjoy our newest issue of the Quarterly . In these pages, the limitless excellence of our members is on full display. From collegians making an impact on their campuses and beyond (Page 40) and alumnae making bold moves in their careers and volunteer roles (Page 43) to our new cohort of traveling consultants (Page 12), this issue is filled with stories that inspire. I can personally vouch for the traveling consultant experience, having traveled as an educational leadership consultant myself, as it challenges you to learn and grow personally and professionally. Our cover story highlights six incredible student-athletes: women who balance demanding course loads and extracurricular commitments while excelling both on and off their respective courts (Page 22).
This will be the last letter I write to you as International President. Serving in this role, alongside the remarkable members of our International Executive Board (IEB), has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my volunteer journey. I'm deeply grateful to my fellow IEB members, our Executive Office staff, the Foundation board members and staff and every single member — yes, you — for the trust you placed in me to serve our Fraternity. It's been a true honor and joy. While this chapter is coming to a close, I know my time with Alpha Phi is far from over, as evidenced by all of my predecessors who remain actively engaged. I'll carry this experience, and my gratitude for it, with me always.
