Why is being in an alumnae community important to you?
Being part of the Alpha Phi alumnae community matters to me because it keeps me connected to something that meant a lot to me, just in a different stage of life. It gives me the chance to build relationships with strong, like-minded women and stay rooted in a community I value, while also giving back more intentionally to something that gave me so much. It’s nice to have something in my adult life that still connects me to Alpha Phi — it’s a reminder of how much it gave me as a college student and how it continues to add to my life as a young professional. And honestly, it’s just fun: it gets me out of my routine, introduces me to things I probably wouldn’t do on my own and gives me an easy way to meet new people without it feeling forced.
