Smoking This Hotel supports a smoke-free environment, with all public areas and guest rooms following a strict no smoking policy. Failure to comply will incur a minimum cleaning fee of AU$500.00 to cover the cost of restoring guest rooms to a smoke-free condition or any other associated cost. The Health Club, located on level 2, features state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment and a separate studio for shared group fitness classes with well-being programs. The Health Club is available 24/7. Personal Training options are available upon request, please speak with the Health Club for more information.
The diamond-shaped indoor pool is located on level 2 and overlooks the ocean. It is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm daily.
Located on ground floor, the outdoor pool is open from 6:00am until 10:00pm daily.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult to enter the indoor and outdoor hotel pools.

SAFETY & SECURITY
Your Security The Langham, Gold Coast is fitted with the latest in electronic safety and security innovations. Your electronic lock registers all entries to your room and whilst all keys may look the same, your personal particulars on the key ensure that no other guest has access to your room. Your door lock is fitted with additional security features that enable you to double-lock the door whilst you are inside. It is recommended that you use this feature whenever you are in your room, especially upon retiring. Your door key also gives you access to the hotel guest lifts. You must use this key to go to your floor. Our hotel rooms (Residence excluded) also have a ‘Do Not Disturb’ privacy light outside your door. To activate, press the touchpad inside your room on the entranceway light panel. Please switch off this light upon departure from your room, to allow staff to service the room in your absence. Your Valuables We regret the Hotel cannot be responsible for valuables left in your room. Each room does have a room safe provided free of charge, or if you wish, safety deposit boxes are available. Please contact The Langham Service for assistance.

Your Safety The fire safety system provided by The Langham, Gold Coast is one of the most advanced systems available. It consists of sprinklers, smoke and heat detectors linked to a control centre that is monitored constantly. • We would like you, however, to note the following basic safety precautions. • Familiarise yourself with the fire exit locations as indicated outside your room and the evacuation chart which is located on the back of your guest room door. • Always place your key in the same place in your room and take it with you in the event of an evacuation. • The Hotel’s emergency number is “777” in case of discovering a fire. • On hearing the continuous tone alarm emitted from the speakers in your room, feel edges of door and door knob for heat prior to exiting. • If heat is evident, gather wet towels or any wet material under the door. Stay by your window and await rescue. • If heat is not evident, open the door slowly and proceed to the nearest fire exit. If you encounter smoke, crawl on your hands and knees. • Do not use elevators in case of fire. • Assemble at the end of Wharf Road away from immediate danger, or as directed so that we may ensure your safety. • Should you need assistance or be hard of hearing, please advise Reception at time of booking or as soon as possible after check-in.

EMERGENCY & EVACUATION PROCEDURES
Emergency Please familiarise yourself with fire exits and procedures as outlined on the floor plan located on the back of your room door. Should you need assistance with evacuation or be hard of hearing, please advise Reception as soon as possible after check-in. Evacuation procedures In the unlikely event of an emergency, The Langham, Gold Coast has a fully trained Emergency Response Team who will coordinate an evacuation. Please find full emergency evacuation procedures on the back of your room door.
