Rochester was officially named a host community for the Pre- Tournament Series, joining other Minnesota cities such as Bemidji and Mankato in welcoming elite junior teams and future NHL talent to the region. Of course, you also can’t go wrong with the wealth of community events gracing Rochester’s calendar. During the summer months, visitors can enjoy Thursdays Downtown, a block-party-style weekly gathering produced by the Rochester Downtown Alliance that blends arts, food, music, and a vendor marketplace while drawing the community together in shared cultural experiences. Rochesterfest, a signature summer celebration held each June, features a week of family-friendly activities, parades, live music, vendor fairs, and fireworks at Soldiers Field Park. It is one of Rochester’s biggest community festivals, celebrating local culture and connection.
