WINTER
Snow is joyful no matter how you spend time in it, and Red River receives wagonloads of snow every winter. Sure, our sleepy town could close shop and hibernate with the bears until spring. But when we see our teary-eyed skis in the corner pleading to go outside, and the snowshoes about to walk the trails themselves, and the snowboards watching old Warren Miller videos wishing they could be in one; we’d be remiss to laze away the winter hours. There’s just too much fun to be done. Red River’s sparkly white trails, frost-covered rooftops and deep powder runs provide acres upon acres of winter activities. Frankly, winter is one of the prettiest and liveliest times to visit. The holidays lights are out. S’mores are out. Santa is out. Joy is in abundance. JOY IN ABUNDANCE
