Glen Burnie Holi Festival Celebration of Colors Storytime and Craft Saturday, March 19 at 11 am Celebrate the Hindu festival of Holi! Be prepared to get a little messy as we make our own gulal (color powder). If the weather is nice, we will be outside. Mothering Day Storytime and Crafts Saturday, May 7 at 11 am Mothers come in all shapes and sizes and we would like to celebrate that special person in your life! Join us for stories, songs, and crafts perfect to give! Brooklyn Park Books and Ballet Saturdays, March 5 and 19, and April 2 at 11 am Let’s create and tell beautiful stories with ballet. If you have them, bring your tutus and/or leotards, tights and ballet shoes. No experience necessary. All ages welcome. Everyday Royal Tea with Friends Monday, April 11 at noon We cordially invite you to a royal tea. Wear your finest, most comfy clothes and don’t forget to bring your favorite stuffed friend. Busch Annapolis ⚛ Create Your Own Kinetic Sand Saturday, March 5 at 3 pm Join us for a day of making your own kinetic sand to take home! Maryland Day Colonial Celebration Saturday, March 26 from 10:30 am to 2 pm Drop in and see how colonial children lived in Maryland! There will be stories, activities, crafts and games for a grand celebration of Maryland Day! R Magnet Magic! Friday, April 29 at 10:30 am Experience the properties of magnets with activities and a craft! Crofton Dance Showcase Saturday, April 9 at 2 pm Watch local dance companies and schools perform in-person! Dancers will demonstrate a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz and contemporary. Deale Hello Spring! Cards and Crafts Wednesday, March 30 at 2:30 pm Enjoy a casual and creative afternoon of card making and Perler fuse bead projects. Materials will be provided. Wear something cozy as we finish off the day with literacy- building fun. Mini Golf Madness Tuesday, March 8 at 4 pm Test your mini-golf skills with your friends and family. Sign Language Storytime Friday, March 11 at 10:30 am Enjoy a fun storytime where we will learn exciting words in American Sign Language through stories and song. ASL interpretation available. Stories and a Stroll Thursday, March 17 and May 5 at 11 am We will walk, sing, read and dance our way around a local park trail. Touch-A-Truck Thursday, April 14 at 10:30 am Join us in theWestfield Annapolis Mall parking lot for Touch-A-Truck. This family- friendly event offers children a hands-on opportunity to explore the large trucks and machines they see, but never get to touch! Origami Family Fun Day! Tuesday, May 3 between 4 and 5 pm Fold paper into works of art and learn about this beautiful Japanese art form. We’ll have books and videos from Creativebug to help guide us in creating masterpieces. All ages and skill levels welcome! Unicorn Party Friday, May 6 at 10:30 am Partake in some unicorn activities and crafts and check out a selection of unicorn books!

Saturday, April 23 from 2 to 4 pm Celebrate Eastport-Annapolis Neck Library’s 43rd birthday! Children’s Day / Día de los niños Tuesday, April 26 at 6 pm A bilingual celebration in honor of Children’s Day and the Day of Books, join us for a presentation of stories and you will make your own codex. Una celebración bilingüe en honor del Día de los niños y Día de los libros, únase a una presentación de cuentos y haga su propio códice. Birds of Prey Saturday, April 30 at 10 am Learn about different birds of prey with Naturalist Liz Smith of Raptor’s Eye.

Stuffed Animal SLEEPOVERS Wear your jammies and bring a stuffed animal for a library sleepover. After storytime, tuck in the animals for the night. Come back to see the mischief they got into overnight. Discoveries: The Library at the Mall Did you know that dinosaurs used to roam around Maryland? Learn about them and other ancient creatures from an expert from the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s Dinosaur Park in Laurel. More family events  Edgewater Peeps Diorama Contest Friday, March 4 through Thursday, March 31 Drop off your peep-included diorama March 4-16. Voting takes place March 17-31. Maryland Day Storytime at London Town Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26 from noon to 3 pm Edgewater Library staff present special Maryland Day storytimes at Historic London Town and Gardens. Storytimes will occur at the beginning of every hour in the children’s garden. Meet Maryland’s Dinosaurs Saturday, May 14 at 11 am

Story Timeless - Howl’s Moving Castle Tuesdays, April 26, May 3, 10, 17 and 24 at 7 pm Wednesdays, April 27, May 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 7 pm All ages are welcome at this virtual read- aloud of DianaWynne Jones’ delightful twists on classic fairy tale expectations!
