Please join us March 16 th for our Bull and Replacement Female Sale to be held at Glacial Lakes Livestock in Watertown, SD. I would like to start with introducing our family and giving a little history on Kwasniewski Angus. We purchased our farm in 1996 when we were married and that’s when we started developing our Angus herd. We have 2 children who have been a part of the farm through it all! Our son Tristen and his wife Mara were blessed with a daughter, Scottlyn Kay, last September making us first time grandparents! Tristen works on the farm and Mara works at Prairie Lakes Health Care Systems. Our daughter Morgan was married last summer to Hunter Waege. She works at the FSA office here in Clear Lake and coaches gymnastics. Hunter works at Agri-Partners and coaches football. We are fortunate to have our family close and always willing to help on the farm! As we choose sires to use and which replacement heifers to keep, our goal is to maintain moderate framed cows with great fertility to produce herd improving genetics. The cows are AI’d off natural heat. This requires a lot of time heat detecting, but the benefits of the great conception and fertility have made it worth the time spent. We are very excited about the bulls and heifers we’re offering this year! We appreciate the comments we’ve heard on good disposition and performance in the past. All the bulls and heifers have been genomic tested, giving the most accurate information on each bull and heifer we can. Let us help you find the right one for you! The registered heifers are a top pick from our replacements, which is something we’ve never offered before! The group of commercial replacement females are picked from excellent dams in our herd. All cattle selling have been developed on a high roughage ration consisting of hay, silage, and earlage, and no creep. Thank you to everyone that has helped make this happen for us!
