The following list represents the updated needs, generally, as assessed in the community engagement for this planning effort: • Expand the City’s parkland area by focusing on underserved parks and recreation areas • Expand the City’s parkland area by partnering with developers and other individuals and groups • Evolve the City’s parks and recreation areas into branded destinations that can be marketed and thereby communicated to residents and visitors in ways that create a branded sense of place • Ensure maintaining existing parks and recreation facilities, including providing a minimum set of improvements, is a higher priority than developing new parks and recreation amenities and areas
