Trail Description: The Lakeside Park North Trail is an extension of the current Lakeside Park and Paddle Point Park system. In the Parks chapter it is recom- mended to join the three areas into one branded park (see pg. 38). This trail will provide views of the water and potentially add addi- tional paddling rest stops for the Central Paddle Trail. Connect Rowlett: One of the last remaining take line areas to facilitate trail/park devel- opment. This area is critical to include in the parks system to achieve a north/south connection along the lake edge. Opportunities: • Existing open space • Non leased take line area • Lake front access Constraints: • Shoreline erosion • Existing topography

• Park-to-Trail connections • Linear parks amenities • Trail heads
