ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the scholarship: Academic Excellence: Minimum 90% GPA in General High School. English Proficiency: Direct Entry Students must present one of the following: - IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with at least 5.5 in writing - TOEFL paper-based score of 500, or equivalent international standard Preparatory Program Students without the required English proficiency will be admitted into PMU's Preparatory Program. Personal Qualifications:
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS This is a prestigious merit-based award that supports high- achieving students who demonstrate strong academic records, leadership potential, and alignment with PMU's values of excellence and global readiness.
Meeting all PMU admission requirements. Strong performance in the personal interview. A record of good conduct and no disciplinary issues.
SCHOLARSHIP CONTINUATION REQUIREMENTS
Direct Entry Students: Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above (on a 4.0 scale). Maintain good standing and conduct throughout. Preparatory Program Students: Complete the full Preparatory Program within one academic year. Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above (on a 4.0 scale). ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA - High academic performance (≥ 90% GPA) - Talent in intellectual, creative, or athletic areas - Leadership potential - Community engagement - Validated assessments (aptitude, creativity, academic performance) - Recommendations from teachers, counselors, or experts - Documented achievements and supporting materials (e.g., e-portfolios, test scores, videos) - Academic Excellence: Minimum 95% GPA in General High School for Gifted Students and 80% GPA for Talented Students
TALENTED K-12 SCHOLARSHIPS This scholarship supports gifted local and international K-12 students who demonstrate exceptional talent in academics or athletics, particularly in STEM and sports. It aligns with PMU's mission to foster excellence and identify future university scholars early in their educational journey.

SCHOLARSHIP TRACKS 4 REHABILITATION SCHOLARSHIPS FOR FORMER INMATES
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA - Must be a former prisoner who has fully completed their sentence within the region - Demonstrated willingness and commitment to reintegrate and positively contribute to society - Open to residents from within and outside the region (with specific provisions for non- local participants) SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS - Full tuition waiver - Monthly stipend - Comprehensive medical insurance - Housing & transportation for students from outside the Eastern Province This initiative reflects PMU's commitment to social responsibility and community service, and it is part of PMU's broader development and humanitarian programs that align with the university's strategic mission. The program ensures that beneficiaries receive a high-quality, future-oriented education that empowers them to overcome past challenges and reenter society as contributing members. It supports PMU's social engagement directives under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz.
This scholarship is a joint initiative between PMU and the General Directorate of Prisons in the Eastern Province. It is designed to support former inmates who have completed their sentences, helping them reintegrate into society and pursue a new phase of life through higher education.

The scholarship applies to full-time undergraduate students with certified disabilities, admitted to academic programs across eligible colleges at PMU.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA - Must have a documented disability (physical, sensory, or other recognized conditions) - Must meet PMU’s undergraduate admission standards - Approval required from the Counseling Dept. and PMU Scholarship Committee SCHOLARSHIP CONTINUATION REQUIREMENTS To retain the scholarship, students must: - Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 - Complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester unless officially exempt SCHOLARSHIP CONTINUATION REQUIREMENTS - The scholarship is valid for up to 6 academic years, including summer semesters, - Complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester unless officially exempt aligned with the approved degree plan - Renewal is subject to annual performance review Awarded to qualified students who meet both disability eligibility and academic merit criteria set by PMU's Scholarship Committee. NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS This scholarship aims to support students with good academic standing who are unable to continue their education at PMU due to financial constraints. Awards are granted based on verified financial need and merit- based screening through the application and interview process.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA - High school GPA of 80% or above - Enrolled students must have a cumulative GPA ≥ 2.0 - No Denial Notice (DN) in any preparatory or specialization course - New students must meet PMU admission requirements - Record of good conduct - Strong performance in personal interview - Proof of financial need demonstrating inability to afford tuition SCHOLARSHIP ENTITLEMENTS

Through partnerships with leading international institutions, selected PMU students engage in overseas coursework and cultural experiences that support PMU's mission under Saudi Vision 2030 to prepare graduates for meaningful contribution in a globally connected world. PROGRAM PURPOSE - Support students in gaining international academic experience aligned with their field of study - Encourage cross-cultural understanding and adaptability through immersion in diverse environments - Strengthen students' communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills in global contexts
STUDENT ACADEMIC & CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM The Academic & Cultural Exchange Program is a complementary component of the Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Global Scholarship Program, designed to enrich the academic and personal development of scholars.
PROGRAM FEATURES
Academic Exchange: Students may participate in short-term or semester-long academic programs at PMU's partner universities, with coursework fully integrated into their degree requirements. Opportunities may also extend to international research conferences, global competitions, problem-solving challenges, and approved internships that provide diverse avenues for academic and professional growth on a global stage. Cultural Engagement Participants are involved in local cultural activities, site visits, and peer exchanges that deepen their appreciation for different perspectives. Structured Support PMU provides pre-departure orientation, academic advising, and reentry support to ensure a smooth and meaningful experience.

SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS FOR SCHOLARSHIP RENEWAL
Students will be eligible for annual scholarship renewal as long as they remained enrolled at PMU, maintain the required GPA and are not guilty of misconduct. Students found guilty of providing misleading information to the university will be disqualified immediately. The minimum standards of “Satisfactory Academic Progress” towards continuing students who are receiving financial aid include:

SCHOLARSHIP TERMS
Double Major/Dual Degree Student can apply for double major if the first and second major requirements can be achieved within the approved scholarship duration. Moreover, PMU returnees for a double major/dual degree, may be eligible for scholarship. The scholarship is determined in accordance with the regulations of Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, and is subject to adjustment or cancellation in the event of any changes that might occur in these regulations during the period of the award. SCHOLARS RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES Students have the right to know: - The deadlines for submitting applications for scholarship - Be informed of the tuitions and tuition variations at PMU - Be informed of financial aid criteria, decisions on distribution of scholarships, and the basis for these decisions - Criteria and conditions for the grant renewal, definition of satisfactory academic progress In accepting their responsibilities, students must: - Complete all applications forms accurately and submit them on time to the proper authority - Provide correct information. In most instances, misreporting information on financial aid applications forms is a violation of law - Return all additional documentation, verification, corrections, and/or new information required by the Office of Financial Aid - Be responsible for reading and understanding all forms that they are asked to sign, and for keeping copies of them - Live up to all agreements signed - Perform the work agreed - Be aware of and comply with deadlines for application or reapplication for aid - Report changes in name, address, telephone number, and enrollment status to the Office of Financial Aid

- Scholarship Suspension If at the end of the probationary term the student again fails to meet the minimum standards, the student will then be notified in writing (Scholarship Suspension Notice) and placed on Scholarship Suspension and cannot receive the financial assistance afterwards. Note: academically suspended students are automatically suspended from scholarship. - Scholarship Suspension Appeal Students who are suspended from Scholarship may submit a written letter of appeal if they provide strong reasons that may allow them to receive their award again. Leave of Absence - All students are expected to complete a written leave of absence application before the beginning of a semester stating a reasonable verified cause to postpone their semester; approvals will be given accordingly. - Awards will be at risk of suspension if student did not return on the stated date in the Leave of Absence Form. Course Withdrawal Any student who withdraws from all classes without prior approval will have his or her financial aid eligibility suspended until the student meet his/her Scholarship Advisor. Change of Major Change of major will not be accepted without prior approval from the Scholarship Advisor. The advisor will verify the validity of the change of major versus the availability of the Scholarship for the new major. If a student fails to meet the above minimum satisfactory academic standards, the student will be notified in writing and will be placed on Financial Aid Probation for the next term of enrollment. During the probationary term, the student will remain eligible for scholarship • If the student meets the minimum standards at the end of the probationary term, the student is then removed from probation.
