6. SPECIAL PERMITS

• Technology to be applied for recovery • Plan in scale 1:20,000 indicating the sites where the mining activity will take place, must contain the following: geometric figure delimited by geographical coordinates, perimeter of the area where the corner is indicated, latitude and longitude and area in hectares. Each site must be presented in universal transverse Mercator coordinates (UTM NAD 27); WGS84 system. i. Location of the collection or storage, processing, smelting and refining yard in which the operating product materials are to be processed where appropriate. j. Environmental license and its resolution, as appropriate, in accordance with the provisions of the environmental authority. k. Closure plan. *Any natural person or legal entity who does not hold a mining right, and regularly engages in the activity of buying and selling minerals for processing, benefiting, distributing, or exporting them, must be entered in the Register of Marketers of Mineral Substances. *The Mining and Cadastral Registration Unit in conjuction with the Mining Control Unit will be responsible for registering the granting of these in its database. The registration will have a unique number and will be granted annually by the Mining Authority, who will issue the corresponding marketer registration. 6.12.4 MARKETING REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS: a. Name or business name and address of the applicant. b. National Tax Registry (RTN). c. Name of the mine, quarry, exploitation and/or establishment from which the ore is supplied and the file number of this before the Mining Authority or Municipality. d. Mineral substances intended for sale, with approximate volumes and/or weights. e. Certificate of origin of the mineral, which shall be issued by the holder of a mining right, duly authenticated. f. Authenticated copy of the document(s) certifying reliably, to be up to date in the payment of all taxes, fees, royalties and other values legally due to the holder of the mining right such as mine, quarry, exploitation and/or establishment supplying the mineral. g. Proof of solvency issued by the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic. h. Payment receipt for the registry’s issue fee. i. Power of attorney duly authenticated.

*Once the application has been evaluated by the Mining and Cadastral Registration, Mining and Legal Control Units, the Mining Authority will issue the registration certificate of the marketer within a maximum period of five (5) days. The validity of the register of marketers will be valid for the period of one year from its date of issue, being possible its renewal by presenting again the previous requirements, maintaining its original registration number. 6.12.5 REQUEST FOR A SAMPLE WITH NO COMMERCIAL VALUE REQUIRING ANALYSIS REQUIREMENTS: a. Application for authorization (Formats: for the prospection of a company by a natural person, by a holder of mining right and applicant outside the mining industry). b. Sample registration formwith no commercial value (format: for legal entity and for natural persons). c. Pro forma invoice with no commercial value. Once the application for a sample with no commercial value has been approved by the Inspection Department, make payment by TGR-1 for Sample Inspection with no commercial value. Value of US$100.00 TGR-1:12116. *The sample for laboratory analysis is sent by sample with no commercial value; the minimum quantity of 2kg and maximum quantity of 5kg can be sent as long as it has been approved by the geologist of INHGEOMIN d. Packing list where applicable. e. Laboratory support document. *Both the application process detailed above as well as the payment of US$ 100.00, are not set forth in the General Mining Law and its Regulations. * The applicant should not make the payment before approval of the application for samples without commercial value, since the amount is not refundable.
