What I did: I worked alongside project control managers to complete day-to-day tasks such as training documents for current employees. These had information on how CMiC and other software that Boldt offers works to maximize company efficiency. I also worked with Power BI software to create graphs and explain a multitude of numbers. Learning day-to-day operations within the office setting and traveling to onsite projects would maximize my time as an intern. What I liked: I enjoyed getting to know how a construction company operates from the inside out, learning the values that they strive to have across company standards, and implementing them into my work. I got to see on the job site work being done by project managers as well as project engineers and team meetings that would occur.
