What I did: As an audit intern I assisted in the Q2 and integrated year end audits for three SEC filing organizations. I had the opportunity to travel to client sites, run financial statement analytics, create process flow diagrams for various internal controls, and I even had the opportunity to build a residual revenue analytic. What I liked: I enjoyed being assigned to three different audit engagements. It allowed me to see organizations within different industries. I also enjoyed the people I met and worked with. They challenged me, supported me and I felt like a valued member of each team I joined. I also enjoyed sending one of my senior managers an accounting joke every morning.
Future Dream Job: My dream is to be the CFO for a F500 company.
