MEGAN KONKOL ’24
MAJOR Finance HOMETOWN Wittenberg, Wis.
ORGANIZATION Greenheck Group Schofield, Wis. TITLE Corporate Accounting Intern
What I did: Throughout my internship I completed project closures where I gathered backup for invoices, assessed the tax, created new assets and prepared journal entries for the cost of the project. I also worked with fixed assets completing registrations, relocations and disposals/ scraps. I also worked with G/L reconciliations for different accounts to verify the information is up to date and accurate. The software I worked with includes SAP and Sage Fixed Assets. What I liked: I liked the diversity of my internship and how I was able to complete different tasks and explore different aspects of an accounting and finance department. Another thing I liked in my role was the people I was surrounded by. Everyone was very welcoming and were always wiling to answer my questions or help me when I needed it. I also liked learning about the values of Greenheck Group and how employees put those into action in their everyday tasks.
Future Dream Job: Financial advisor.
