What I did: I got to see what goes on behind the scenes with running a Kwik Trip store. I helped complete morning bookwork, ordered product for the store, ran a leadership meeting, checked in vendors, led a shift, attended district meetings, and gave feedback to other co- workers. What I liked: My favorite part of the internship was the people. The store leadership team and my other co-workers encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone as a leader. Future Dream Job: It is extremely broad, but my goal is to work for a company that I feel good working for -- whether it is in the finance department, as a manager or as another position within the business.
