What I did: I collaborated with my manager to interview employees and write their job descriptions, onboarding and hiring, affirmative action policy and hiring plan, sought out potential career fairs we could attend locally, and helped out any of the senior management and staff when needed. What I liked: I loved being able to learn about the daily operations of a small technology company and be exposed to everything under the realm of human resources. Future Dream Job: My goal is to work for the Department of Natural Resources in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion department!
