22 The day had its own itinerary. At check-in, each broker received a passport to be stamped at the four tour stops, turning the visit into a circuit through the parts of the community now taking shape. Completed passports became entries for three prizes that extended the experience beyond the afternoon. The grand prize was a weekend escape for two at Old Edwards Reserve, FALL 2026 before guests moved among Laurel Village, the Tennis Center, the 200-slip Marina and The Landing. At Laurel Village, they walked the construction site, previewed proposed amenities and received a brief look at the short course now underway. Laurel Village is beginning to take physical shape at Old Edwards Reserve. Framing is up on the first cottages, roof lines are visible, and exterior sheathing has been installed. Photographs from July show the first homes rising from the site, moving the project beyond plans and renderings. That progress set the backdrop for a private broker open house on July 16, when invited agents from across the region gathered at Old Edwards Reserve. Owner James Whitley welcomed the group at The Landing and outlined what is now underway across the community
