Marriage Requirements

• Full payment of your estimated bill is payable no later than 3 days before your wedding day. Cash or credit card is accepted. •Estimated number of guests must be confirmed at the time of booking. Final numbers must be confirmed at least 1 month prior to your wedding day. •Weddings are generally not held on festive holidays such as Christmas Day, Boxing Day, News Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Exceptions may apply based on hotel occupancy and wedding size. •A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 USD is required to secure your wedding reception. •For group room reservations, the Bride and Groom can hold accommodation for guests where rooms are individually paid or together as a group. A rooming list is required no later than 30 days before arrival. Rooms not reserved from the group block will be released for general sale. •A group accommodation cancellation policy applies. (Outlined in accommodation contract) • The client will be responsible for any damage caused in public areas by client, guests or outside vendors/suppliers. •The hotel accepts no responsibility for damage to equipment, goods or other property left on premises.

Bride and Groom must apply for a marriage license from the ministry of Home Affairs. The application can be made any time after arrival to Barbados. The wedding may take place any time after there license has been issued and is valid for 3 months. The license is usually issued at the time of application. Documents required by the authorities must be originals or certified copies. These are your passport and birth certificate. If any parties are divorced, proof of Decree Absolute is required. In case of widow/widower, the marriage certificate and death certificate is required. If there has been a name change, other than by marriage, proof is required.
