Walters has directed CBRE’s Philadelphia area operations since 1984. He has earned several awards for leader- ship distinction, including the Chairman’s Excellence Award (twice), given to CBRE’s top market leader, and the Tram- mell Crow Master Builder Award, which recognizes en- trepreneurial spirit, drive and vision. Walters joined CBRE, as an industrial sales and leas- ing specialist in 1979. He is an active supporter of the William Penn Charter School, Northwestern, Virginia and Duke Universities.

Clarifi is a financial lit- eracy nonprofit in the greater Philadelphia area providing counseling, education and coaching to help individuals and families achieve financial stability. For 52 years Clarifi has helped over 750,000 people improve their credit, reduce debt, prepare for homeowner- ship and save money. CBRE’s MatthewKnowles represented the tenant during lease negotiations, while the CBRE team of Kevin Malo- ney, Mark Adzick, George Cauffman and JosephWolff negotiated on behalf of the building’s owner, Nightingale Properties . 1635 Market St. is a 19-story class A office and retail build- ing in the middle of Phila- delphia’s Central Business District. It is ideally situated between The Comcast Center and Liberty Place at the north- east corner of 17th and Market Streets. The property offers immediate access to Subur- ban Station’s concourse level, a major transportation hub, with connection to Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor rail and di- rect access to SEPTA Regional Rail, Subway Surface Line and Subway system. Clarifi joins a list of other profile tenants including Spec- tor, Gadon & Rosen, MakeOf- fices and Magna Legal Ser- vices, among others. CBRE also announced that Bob Walters , the company’s longtime leader for the Greater Philadelphia region, will retire at the end of the year. Adam Mullen has been appointed to succeed Walters as market leader, effective January 1, 2019, with oversight for down- town and suburban Philadel- phia, Delaware, southern New Jersey, the Lehigh Valley and Central Pennsylvania. “Bob is one of our longest- tenured and most accom- plished market leaders who has guided our Philadelphia area operations to increasingly greater success for more than three decades,” said Matt Van Buren , president, Northeast Division, CBRE. “We thank Bob for his terrific leadership
