From the second we met with Laura last year, before even booking, we knew that this was the perfect place for our wedding and that it would be every bit as magical as we had envisaged ... and my goodness you did not disappoint. Every single person who works in that hotel absolutely made our day as special as we could ever have hoped - all our guests commented on how helpful and incredibly kind the ladies on reception were and I agree, they were beautifully kind and made the whole (complicated) process of checking in/out/the moving of rooms etc and the craziness of having to figure out who needed to pay what - incredibly stress free! Please thank them for us, they, like all of you are an absolute credit to the hotel. The waiting staff were all beautifully kind to us and we are super grateful of how hard they worked to make our day as special as it was, everyone especially loved how uniform they were when it came to the food service - what a lovely bunch! John who announced us & helped with various aspects of the day, including navigating the very heavy snow machine with Eftal giving him his orders, what a delightful chap he is. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he always had a lovely smile on his face. We are grateful he was a part of our wedding and helped to keep things running smoothly, so thank you to him, again - a credit to the hotel. And last but very not least, our lovely lovely Lauren, what an absolute exquisite human you are! Nothing ... and I mean nothing has ever been too much or a no. I feel like from the first time we met, you crawled inside my brain and knew exactly the vision I had for the most beautiful hotel and you executed it perfectly! Every tiny little detail took my breath away and I think you could tell how much it meant to be when I burst into tears upon sight of the room. It was absolutely everything I could have dreamed of and more .. absolute perfection in every single way and so much more of a dingy fire hazard than I ever could have hoped. The tens of candles everywhere was just mesmerising! You made the whooooooole wedding planning process so simple and helped me be the calm bride that I think i turned out to be. You are absolutely in your perfect role at the hotel and I hope they truly realise how lucky they are to have you! Your support was incredible and your execution of the wedding, outstanding!!!!! You are one of the most calm, sweet, gentle humans ive ever had the pleasure of meeting and im so grateful to have had you coordinating our wedding. Please thank every single person that helped make our day as magical as it was, we will be forever grateful for the memories you have helped us create. We knew Abbey House was special during the first couple of times we visited but we had no idea just HOW special!!! What an absolute dream venue and how lucky we are for being part of the wedding portfolio.
I really cant thank you enough for how amazing you made our day, my only sadness is that we cant do it again!
