According to the statistics of th e Bureau of In tern al Revenue, th ere are th irty -th ree persons in th e United States w ith an annual in­ come of a million dollars or more, in­ cluding four whose incomes are in ex­ cess of $5,000,000. Mr. John D. Rocke­ feller still heads th e list, ' w ith an es­ tim ated income, exclusive of large sums derived from tax-exempt securities, of more th an $8,000,000. Mr. Henry Ford and his sou Edsel come second and Vthird, w ith incomes above $$,000,000. 'The name of the fou rth is in doubt, but four multim illionaires paid taxes be­ tween them on approximately $30,000,- OQ0. The outstanding featu re of the repo rt is th e decided decrease in the number of Americans who can boast of receiving $1,000,000 or more from in­ vested fortunes.
