Mission Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and justice to abused and neglected children in our community through comprehensive services at the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children. Impact • Year to date CASA and CAC have served a combined 1,057 children.
Giving Opportunities
Our work is supported by donors and community partners throughout our service region. We are able to provide advocacy services, forensic interviews, medical exams, community education, and trauma therapy free of charge thanks to the support of our community. CAC has provided 2,382 free therapy sessions to children and their non-offending family members. 92 CASA Volunteer Advocates have logged 4,607 volunteer hours, completed 1,388 child contacts, and attended 424 court hearings and case related meetings.

CAC has conducted 751 forensic interviews.

CAC staff has provided expert court testimony which resulted in nine life sentences and a total sentencing of over 500 years. CASA & CAC provided education to over 1200 children and 500 adults.
