Keeping it 'On Track'
With established fabrication facilities in Canada and in the USA, Titan uses the latest technology to custom fabricate pre-seamed geomembrane panels for a variety of lining projects. This summer we worked on a large project for an excess soil stockpile pad at a CN Rail site in Ashcroft, British Columbia. This project involved pre-fabricating and installing 150,694 SF (14,000 m2) 40mil LLDPE geomembrane panels to cover contaminated soil that was being transported from this rail site to a stockpile pad. Our team successfully delivered and kept the project well 'on track'.
R.I.P Rip Rap!
This closure dam project in Alberta was originally specified with 700mm of rip rap rock and geotextile for slope erosion control. After consulting with the client, Titan proposed a longer-lasting and more cost- effective erosion control solution which included lining the dam slopes with Pyramat®, a high-performance turf reinforcement mat (HPTRM) made of woven polypropylene geotextile. To date, we've supplied and installed an impressive 484,376 SF (45,000 m2) of material.
