Concrete Canvas® for the Win at Hydro Site!
A fuel tank farm at a hydroelectric site in Iowa needed to line berms surrounding 9 fuel storage tanks. The objective was to provide erosion protection of the berm slopes. This had to be done quickly and with a lining solution that not only offered erosion protection but also fire-protection capabilities for safety reasons and weed suppression to eliminate maintenance needs. Concrete Canvas® (CC5) was chosen for this project, meeting all the criteria, and offering a long-term, safe, and cost-effective solution. Titan supplied and installed a total of 68,864 SF (6,397 m2) of CC for this project which was successfully completed in just 3 weeks.
Mega Mining Project
With extensive experience and expertise executing lining projects in the mining sector, we were thrilled to have been awarded a project to supply and install over 1,360,000 SF (12,6348 m2) of LLDPE geomembrane at a major mine site in Ontario this year. The project spanned over a 5-month period and involved lining underneath a tailings pipeline as well as multiple tailings management dams and the tailings management facility (TMF).
