Project scope was to design and install a temporary lifting davit, to facilitate the replacement of a 2000lbs flare tip on AMNI’s Princess AWENI FPSO located offshore in Nigeria.

Working with an experienced, multi-disciplined in house team, is beneficial for clients: • Cost effective, compared with expensive helicopters & barge cranes. • Proven safe method. • Experienced and dedicated team throughout the project. • Gantry steelwork incorporating details for secondary method of flare tip lowering, in the event the main hoist fails. • Own yard facility for full test build to check fitting and constructability, enabling modifications to be made prior to install. • Test build undertaken by team, undertaking project on site. • Brackets for installation access support, built into the gantry steelwork for quick and safe installation.
