Practice Inquiry Online Drop-In For all nurses, midwives and allied health professionals. Join us on MS Teams with your practice inquiry question or just to listen. Links to access the meeting will be emailed the week prior to the session, and on the day (sessions are offered virtually only). Higher degree research students are encouraged to attend. Intranet site: Research training and self-directed learning The Research Training and Self-Directed Learning intranet site contains a range of self-directed learning opportunities and links to research training resources. These are designed to support and guide NSLHD nurses and midwives to build their knowledge about evidence-based practice (EBP). It is also an ideal place for clinicians who wish to embark on practice inquiry, quality improvement, or research.

NSLHD Library Master Classes
Requiring some assistance with literature searches, research projects or updating policies and guidelines? NSLHD staff can enrol in an NSLHD Library Master Class. These sessions develop and enhance your searching skills. Learn to search effectively and efficiently for current, authoritative medical, nursing and/or allied health literature to answer your clinical question. Library Master Classes are available for individuals or small groups remotely via Skype or Microsoft Teams. Request a training session with a librarian at a time that suits you and your team.
