THE CLUB’S NEW OFFICERS

At a Special General Meeting on Tuesday, 1st April, two new officers of the Club were elected. NEIL RILEY takes over the role of Honorary Secretary and MARK WINDOWS as Interim Treasurer, replacing, respectively, Gary Melling and Andy Cleasby. Neil officially takes the natural step from successful Mini/Junior Secretary, seeing the section successfully grow from 350 players to now over 500+, as well as the introduction of North West Roses Junior Girls team. “I’m really excited to take on this role within the club that I truly love being a part of. From my eldest son Jack who came through our own Mini-Junior ranks to now playing with Halbro North West Teams, Harry, who previously played for Fylde Colts, to my youngest Thomas who now plays an active role in our mighty U10’s. Not forgetting, of course, my amazing (and very tolerant!) wife Kerry who has transformed & operates our Club Shop… The sport & this club have played a huge role in both mine & my family’s lives for many years & I’m extremely proud and honoured to play a small part in Fylde’s huge, iconic history” Club President Anthony Hoskisson said: “As a club we would like to welcome Neil into the role & also thank Mr Gary Melling for all

his hard work & dedication during his tenure as Club Secretary - as well as his ongoing support as he continues his role as U14’s Team Manager. Many thanks too to Andy Cleasby who has worked hard as Hon Treasurer and a welcome to Mark Windows who has agreed to take over on an interim basis.”
