Umm Al Quwain University Wins the Third Place in UAE Hackathon
Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority announced the UAE Hackathon 2023 winners› names in its sixth edition on the sidelines of the Month of Innovation activities, yearly in February. It was during the closing ceremony of the sixth edition of UAE Hackathon at the Higher Colleges of Technology - Dubai, in the presence of Engineer Majid Sultan Al Mismar, Director General of the Communications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, representatives of government agencies, Authority’s partners from the private sector, and the competitors. «Asafa Team» from Umm Al Quwain University won third place in UAE Hackathon in the universities track. Nasser Hassan Al Shehhi and Salem Mohammed Al Mahri were the team representers under Dr. Suzan Shaheen’s supervision. Dr. Hani Bakr, the vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at UAQU, Dr. Suzan Shaheen and Mr. Maan Al Saati attended the ceremony.
