Thinking of My Staff and Family This Thanksgiving

All of us work hard to cultivate this spirit of caring and professionalism with weekly training and coordination meetings and “Alborzi University” every few months. During these times, we strive to optimize our care, address our patients’ changing needs, and integrate new technology into our practices. I think it’s a testament to the team that no one ever complains about these training sessions. Everyone is eager to learn new things and push themselves to deliver the best service in the industry. I just want to thank my staff from the bottom of my heart for constantly keeping an open mind and being ready to learn. It’s obvious to everyone involved that patient care is paramount to my team, putting care first in every aspect of their work. Not only that, but I’m thankful for the respect my staff gives to each other and their patients. We’re all on the same team, after all, so it’s vital that we recognize the accomplishments and efforts of our peers. Besides my wonderful staff, I’m thankful this Thanksgiving for my amazing patients who allow us to care for them and their friends and families. And last, but not least, I am grateful for my wonderful husband and son, who always support me in everything I do, not only as a

This month, with Thanksgiving right around the corner, I’d like to express my gratitude and appreciation for my incredible team at Alborzi Orthodontics. There’s just no way we could provide such exceptional patient care and maintain our fun and positive work environment without the dedicated efforts of each and every member of our stellar staff. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work alongside. My team isn’t just a collection of support staff, they’re integral to our exemplary patient treatment. From the moment a patient steps through our doors, they’re welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm from our front desk coordinators, who are second to none in the industry. Then, they’re seen by one of our talented dental assistants, who won’t miss a thing during the examination process. Meanwhile, our financial and marketing coordinators provide the scaffolding that enables our office to reach out and transform the lives of the greatest possible number

of people. And don’t forget my executive assistants, Diane Dugoni Descalso and Jennifer Kelley, without whom I can’t imaging getting anything done. It all comes down to everyone working toward our mission statement, to enhance the quality of life for our patients by providing a level of care that is unequaled in the practice of orthodontics, and to do so in a fun environment that is on the cutting edge of service, knowledge, and technology. When we’re hiring, we look for a special type of person. They must have an innate sense of caring and friendliness, and we especially seek those who have vibrant, engaging personalities. These are traits that a lot of people fake across many industries, but really, it’s obvious when someone puts on a fake smile and delivers you a hackneyed spiel. Our entire team is handpicked so that we have talented people who truly want to make a difference in our patients’ lives.

doctor, but as an individual striving to do my best for myself and the world. I simply wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
