relocating suppliers in proximity to the New River Valley plant. As a result, Starsprings - a Swedish bedding and furniture component business - located a new U.S. subsidiary in Martinsville, Va. We are currently assisting entrepreneur Kay Naseem of Arlington to launch novel medical devices for compassionately assisting stroke and other physically impaired patients. As we work to address our clients’ challenges, we leverage partnerships across the state. GENEDGE was proud to team with the City of Norfolk , ODU, the Mason SBDC , the USEAC , FEDEX , and the Port of Virginia in graduating 7 companies from the Virginia ExporTech™ program. Now operating in 32 states, this federal program helps companies strategically add exporting as a core part of their business model. We are pleased with how these new efforts complement our existing services to help build the New Virginia Economy.
