Instructions for: Polymer Mugs
1. Make sure you have or buy the correct pressing tool for the Polymer mug you will print. You can find this at JG Electronics. This helps keep the hot soft polymer from pressing out of shape.
2. Print the design in mirror image, cut it out, and secure it onto the mug with heat tape.
3. Insert the Metal tool into the mug and keep it aside.
4. Heat your press with an old mug inside (Use a ceramic mug and not a polymer mug to heat the press) to 200°C and 120 seconds
5. When the temperature is reached, remove the mug that you have used to heat the press. Then, insert the Polymer mug with the metal insert inside and press with light to medium pressure for 120 seconds.
6. When 120 seconds is up, remove the polymer mug from the press, and remove the metal tool and the print. You can put the mug in water to cool down quickly.
