Employee Consultation

Safety Representatives are an integral part of our company, with their election encouraged on all sites. Where more than 10 are employed on site, we ensure at least one has been appointed. The Safety Representative is consulted regarding all matters pertaining to safety and accompanies the auditor during safety department audits. The Representative attends weekly safety meetings and is a point of contact for the implementation of legislation and Ardmac’s safe work procedures. In addition to the appointment of the safety representative, employees are consulted through a number of formal and informal avenues. Site meetings are conducted on a weekly basis at least. Weekly Toolbox talks are conducted, Safety Statement available at each workplace.
