MEET THE DELIVERY TEAM
Anna Robinson - UKCP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and BEP Mental Health & Wellbeing Director. Anna devised our Fundamentals Training Programme. Anna has been working at a both a system leadership level and operationally in mental health for over 15 years. Anna’s experience of working across health, social care, education and the voluntary sector with hard to reach and marginalised groups means that she is known for being a trusted source not only of up to date knowledge and grounded experience. Her current work with Birmingham Education Partnership works with school leadership to develop whole school approaches to emotional health and wellbeing. Anna is a UCKP registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, specialising in trauma. She also teaches on a Masters programme for trainee psychotherapists. She is passionate about the psychotherapy field and the role that therapists can have in supporting not only individual growth but also influencing wider population-level approaches to wellness. Along with private practice, Anna therefore continues to work with multi-agency and research colleagues to develop innovative responses to improving access, understanding, training and interventions that are culturally and contextually relevant to diverse communities.
Lucy Nicholls - SEND & Inclusion Lead Practitioner
Lucy is a passionate SEND and Inclusion Lead Practitioner, NPQ SEN facilitator, and education advisor, working closely with SENCOs, school leaders, and support staff to drive meaningful change and improve outcomes for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). With over 20 years of teaching experience and more than a decade dedicated to SEND, Lucy brings a wealth of insight and impact from her diverse roles — including teacher, senior leader, SENCO, research associate, and Lead Practitioner — across primary, secondary, and specialist settings. Her leadership in inclusion, safeguarding, and attendance has made a lasting difference to some of the most vulnerable learners. Drawing on her background in primary leadership, Lucy is committed to building supportive, high-quality learning environments where every child can thrive — and to empowering the educators who make that possible.
Kiren Bennett - Inclusion Lead Practitioner
Kiren is an Inclusion Lead Practitioner with the Birmingham Education Partnership (BEP) and a Specialist Leader in Education for SEND, with over 20 years’ experience across all phases of education. She supports schools and multi-academy trusts to strengthen inclusive practice and embed sustainable improvements that positively impact learners and staff. She has held leadership roles including Deputy and Assistant Headteacher, SEND Consultant, and Local Authority SEND Advisory Teacher. Her experience includes leading whole-school reviews, supporting MAT- wide strategy, and facilitating collaborative networks. She also coaches education professionals and delivers training to build confidence, capacity, and inclusive leadership. Kiren is passionate about inclusive practice, fairness, and creating a strong sense of belonging in schools. She advocates for trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches and actively promotes equity and diversity.
