In Memoriam: Jack Roger Hoback Jr.
Jack Roger Hoback Jr., 59, of Wytheville, formerly of Alaska and a member of AMA, passed away Nov. 12, 2022. He was the son of the late Jack Roger Hoback Sr. and preceded in death by a sister, Selena Shanklin. Jack was a hard worker and a man of faith. He was a very adventurous man and enjoyed his time mining for gold in the wilderness of Alaska. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Sabrina and Jaron Crider of Wytheville, and Charlotte Hoback
of Rural Retreat; mother, Pat Layne Hoback of Wytheville; sister and brother-in-law, Shannon and Warren Mills of Wytheville; grandchildren, Jessie Crider, Skylar Crider, Miah Crider, and Paisley Crider; brother-in-law, Ron Shanklin of Wytheville; and nieces and nephews, Heath Shanklin, Chase Shanklin, Michael Jones, Summer Stephens, Madison Stephens.
