Photo Courtesy Kinross Alaska Kinross Alaska celebrated International Women’s Day in March with several special events including a special gold pour for the ladies across site. For most, it was their first pour. The Kinross MEM team painted a shovel bowl purple to honor the day and women at site and the team held a special brunch for all employees to discuss equality in the workplace. The Kinross leadership team talked about how women’s rights and influence have changed over the years. See next month’s Alaska Miner magazine for a new campaign the Kinross lady miners are doing to support the Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living.
