The building contains many sections including the main sanctuary, the cloister, chapter house, crypts, side chapels, and a bell tower. It forms one side of the main Plaza (Plaza Alfonso II el Casto) in the old city and is surrounded by other medieval structures including the paving stones for the plaza and the streets connecting to the Plaza. Very impressive church and inside (you have to pay to get inside) visitors are given audio equipment to use as they explore the complex. There is so much to see and understand that it is not a place you can run into and out of quickly.
