We wandered through all 19 of the galleries including “The Matter of Time” by the American artist, Richard Serra. Designed as a labyrinth, it afforded disorienting illusions of space: a pair of walls leaning in parallel threw me off balance as my body tried to align itself with them. There was uncertainty of not knowing what the walls would do around the bend and the worrisome pressure of tremendous tonnage bearing down from both sides. I came out stumbling as though I had returned to the unsteady motion of our rocking expedition ship.
