Sail the Iberian Peninsula - 2019

CONCLUSION

Surely my “concise” journal covering this exploration of the Iberian Peninsula has whetted your appetite to see, enjoy, learn, and appreciate Spanish and Portuguese culture. As usual, Zegrahm created a fine expedition for us, despite, as mentioned before, the few number of clients. They stinted on nothing to save money. We had a private tour of the Alhambra, we entered the Sagrada Familia on time and with very few other tourists, we dined at excellent restaurants, and stayed in lovely hotels when off the ship. Everything about the trip was first class. Our leaders and lecturers were excellent and determined to share their knowledge of such subjects as Geology and geography, history (both ancient and more modern), Spanish and Portuguese culture. The leaders also made sure that our travels were trouble-free (as far as we knew) and expeditious.

Zegrahm cannot be praised too highly for this marvelous trip.

A word of thanks and appreciation needs to be appended to praise the excellent crew on board the Ocean Adventurer—from the Captain to the engineers to the kitchen and dining room workers and on to the cabin stewards. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and efficient. But why be surprised? That is just the Zegrahm way to do things!
