What I did: Quoted auto and home policies for new prospects and current customers. Worked marketing and sales tasks. Helped walk-in customers. Processed payments. Answered phones. Balanced working efficiently in a busy office environment. Lead a mail-based mass prospecting campaign, targeting over 5,000 prospects for auto, fire, business, life, and health insurance. Worked over 4,000 potentially neglected opportunities. Filed certificates and evidence of insurance for customers. Created a new modernized time sheet and updated quoting sheets. Sold home insurance to auto-only customers. Sold coverage increases to low-coverage customers. Contributed to weekly office meetings. What I liked: I loved the tight-knit community aspect of my office. I liked being able to talk to all of my co-workers face-to-face whenever I needed to. I enjoyed living so close to my office.
