What I did: •
Create relationships with event vendors
• Work with local artists, musicians and a variety of vendors • Support vendors with setup and takedown needs • Set up, help manage, and take down at all events • Expected to be present for entirety of all events • Assist in the planning and execution of events as needed • Create content for social media (graphics, videos, etc.) • Be present at volunteer events and help with volunteer management • Help recruit volunteers for events and Levitt Hype Team • Assist in planning and executing kid’s market • Collect weekly total sales from vendors at farmer’s market • Help with event data entry and post event recaps • Help with district wide cleanliness and overall appearance • Work with clients who need to use EBT at the farmer’s market • Help marketing department with regular tasks (email newsletters, social media) What I liked: I really enjoyed having a variety of tasks to do. I learned a lot more than just how to run an event. I learned to be more sociable and network with a large amount of people. I loved the people that I worked with. They make “work” feel like not work. I liked having the ability to do things myself and will others. It was a lot of fun! Future Dream Job: My future dream job is to own my own business one day! I want the flexibility to travel the world!
