What I did: Call people to set up meetings, educate them on the way that we plan, how we plan, why we plan that way, bring over new clients, get referrals and repeat the process. What I liked: That it is like running your own business, you are 1099 employee even as an intern which is pretty cool. Future Dream Job: Financial planner, I have been with Northwestern Mutual for a little over a year now as an intern and I could not imagine doing anything else.
