What I did: Contract Administration - Entered estimate requests and bid documents into the database for workers; Sent out important notices and invoices to and from other companies; Answered phone calls and greeted guests; Helped keep the office and break room clean; Did little jobs for Human Resources, Accounting, and Project Management; Planned company activities such as birthday lunches; Worked with other interns to share learn the duties different branches of the company; Opened and distributed mail What I liked: I liked that the days were mellow, but every day I did something that made other people’s jobs easier and was very appreciated. I accomplished tasks that needed to be done but no one wanted to do, so I got credit for that. I got to experience a real office job and find out my strengths and weaknesses.
Future Dream Job: Accountant.
