What I did: While interning here, I approved invoices, reconciled rents, recorded company credit card transactions, and helped with calculations during comp season to allocate the proper funds to each lawyer. What I liked: I loved that I got to experience working in a professional office environment for the first time and network with the accounting department. I loved that the environment around me was incredibly kind and supportive, and I loved that I was able to ask so many questions and gain valuable insight into the accounting world. I loved that there was a lot of individual work to work through, but it was very balanced with all of the help I received. I also loved the downtown experience and working in a professional office environment, applying the knowledge I learned in class to the workforce. Future Dream Job: I would love to obtain my CPA license and work to become a business owner.
