What I did: Conducted an internal audit of payroll that was presented to the CFO and president of the company. Completed a three-day Excel training through Mid-State Tech. What I liked: Getting to do my own research for the internal audit of payroll. Every day I was able to talk to different co-workers and learn how a specific process worked in the Finance, Payroll and HR department which helped with my research. Learning about all these processes made me learn how important collaboration is between departments, and how many different areas of business the Finance department will cover at a corporation.
Future Dream Job: Run my own practice as a CPA.
