What I did: I take the inventory of the ice cream, toppings and paper supplies used in the shoppe. I lead staff meetings. I create the schedule every week catering to each employee’s personal calendar. I have meetings with my managers to update them regarding anything going on in the ice cream shoppe. I do our weekly Ice cream order from Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream. What I liked: I enjoy being able to make the girls smile. Moo’s Ice Cream Shoppe has always been the ideal place to work for high school girls in the summer, but they never had a manager who was close in their age. I like that I am someone they feel comfortable with rather than scared of. I also really enjoy doing the weekly ice cream order. We’ve had numerous customers state that our flavor selection has been amazing this summer. Future Dream Job: I would love to work for the Minnesota Wild or Minnesota Vikings as an equipment manager.
