The bulk of our work is replacing burst or damaged hydraulic hoses via the mobile service engineers. Each service engineer operates from a mobile workshop where hydraulic hose assemblies can be made on site. Our service promise is to attend urgent jobs within one hour of receiving the job to get the machine up and running and reduce costly and inconvenient downtime.
Hose Centres We have 85 fully stocked trade counters, supplying all types of hydraulic hose, a wide range of hydraulic and engine oils, oil spill products, pneumatics and industrial hose. We also offer ‘machine shop’ facilities to make custom solutions for all types of hydraulic adaptors, power steering pipes and hoses, and air conditioning hoses. Our centres are all supported by fully stocked mobile service units operating 24/7 with an ETA of 1 hour.

Hose Tagging and Maintenance Pirtek hoses are cleaned to remove contaminations which helps to increase oil and filter life and reduce system downtime and overall running costs. In addition, each hose is tagged for traceability, controlled maintenance, statistical maintenance and total hose identification.
Environment Pirtek Centres are registered as collection points for hazardous waste. We will assist you to comply with the regulations and ensure oil waste products are dealt with legally. Pirtek has an environmental policy which strives to minimise the impact on the environment: as a result the majority of the oil collected, is recycled. Oil spill waste and related contaminated waste is considered hazardous waste under these regulations. A system of consignment notes and licensing, administered by the Environment Agency, ensures that waste oil and oil contaminated waste are tracked from the point of generation to the point of disposal. Both temporary storage and transport of all oil spill waste must, therefore, be carefully documented and licensed. This includes hydraulic hoses, oil absorbent products and related products. The Pirtek Waste Care Programme provided information about the safe delivery, use, management and disposal of oils. Pirtek Technicians are trained to City & Guilds Certification Standards Pirtek places great emphasis on training and all our service engineers undergo City and Guilds approved training at our dedicated facility in Birmingham. Our engineers work in a wide variety of industries and situations and a thorough understanding and application of health and safety practices is essential.
