We advance these objectives through a three-pronged strategy:

We post Trex openings on sites frequently used by minority groups as well as mainstream career web sites to maximize interest from highly qualified and talented candidates from all backgrounds. In addition, we seek to recruit candidates from industries that are related to, but outside of, building products as part of our efforts to attract highly qualified people who possess diverse and creative problem-solving skills.

Additionally, we partnered with other employers in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, region to share best practices and explore joint initiatives.

In hiring exceptional candidates who bring unique perspectives, experiences, and ideas to Trex, we also better represent our customers and communities. In 2024, we continued refining our practices through actions such as: Implementing technology to review Trex job postings and help ensure equal opportunity language Adding our compensation ranges to all job postings for greater transparency around pay equivalence Building hiring panels that represent our workforce and the communities we serve Using a standardized scorecard to evaluate job candidates consistently
