principles and expectations for ethical behavior. The Code is part of our employee handbook. Additionally, we provide online ethics training annually to all office-based and field sales employees and are proud to have achieved a 100% completion rate in 2024. In the same year, we continued to expand the availability of online ethics training across Trex and offered annual in-person ethics training in both English and Spanish. We are deeply committed to respecting and upholding the rights of our employees, business partners, customers, and communities. Our Human Rights Policy underscores this commitment and details how we address issues such as excessive working hours, discrimination, and child and forced labor. Terms of the policy require us to comply with all applicable national laws and international treaties concerning human rights, social rights, and labor rights. Also, our policy is consistent with the principles of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

We encourage all employees to report any suspected violations of our Code of Conduct and Ethics or applicable laws. Concerns can be raised directly with a supervisor, our Employee Relations Manager, Human Resources, or the Chief Legal Officer. For those who prefer to remain anonymous, we offer a toll-free Corporate Governance Hotline, available 24/7, year-round. This hotline is managed by an independent third party to ensure confidentiality. Investors and other interested parties can also reach our Board through the hotline or by submitting concerns in writing. All reports are promptly reviewed by our Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer to ensure a thorough investigation. When a violation is confirmed, we take immediate action to implement corrective measures and prevent it from happening again.

We are dedicated to conducting business in a way that is environmentally, socially, and ethically responsible. This commitment is guided by our sustainability governance policies, which include our Environmental Policy , Human Rights Policy , Occupational Health and Safety Policy , Privacy Policy and our internal AI Policy–updated in 2024 for regulatory compliance.
