2020 4th Quarter Crime Report
In 2020, NIBRS Group A offenses decreased 1.5% compared to 2019. Crimes Against Persons increased 0.6%, Crimes Against Property increased 1.8%, and Crimes Against Society decreased 34.0%. In the Fourth Quarter of 2020 compared to the Fourth Quarter of 2019, overall offenses increased 0.5%. Crimes Against Persons increased 9.9% with increases in assault offenses and murder & nonnegligent man- slaughter and negligent manslaughter offenses. Crimes Against Property decreased 0.5% with decreases in counterfeiting/forgery, embezzlement, and fraud offenses. Crimes Against Society decreased 19.9% with de- creases in drug/narcotic violations, gambling offenses, and prostitution offenses. 2020 4th Quarter Citywide NIBRS Group A Offenses
